About our school

Growing in knowledge.
Rooted in faith.

St. Scholastica Ruiru is a Catholic private school along the Ruiru-Kiambu Road in Kiambu County, Kenya. Owned and managed by the Franciscan Sisters of St. Anna (FSSA), commonly known as the Lwak Sisters, our school brings faith, learning, and service into everyday life.

We began as a nursery school in September 2022 and have grown to Grade 3. Our community of teachers, children, and parents creates a caring environment where learners can explore, ask questions, and develop strong character.

Education & values

Care for the whole child.

Christian values guide spiritual growth, ethical decisions, and service to others. We nurture intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual development together.

Learning with understanding

Competency-Based Education helps learners master essential skills and knowledge at their own pace. Classical Education develops critical thinking, logic, and language skills.

Faith and character

Our Catholic faith shapes community life, encouraging children to grow in their relationship with God and treat others with kindness and respect.

A supportive community

Small classes and close relationships with teachers and families give children space to build friendships, express themselves, and grow in confidence.
